Frequently asked questions
Is my data stored anywhere?
The Chrome extension reads your data directly from IRCC using your active session and generates the Word document entirely inside your browser — nothing is sent anywhere by default. If you click "Email me a copy" or "Get a consultant's review," that content is transmitted through our systems solely to perform the requested email function — we do not create a separate, persistent record of it from that transmission.
Does it work for applications with only one applicant (no spouse)?
Yes. The tool automatically detects whether there is one applicant or two and includes the right sections for each.
Do I need to enter any IDs or codes?
No — the extension detects the open IRCC application automatically. Just open the checklist in a Chrome tab and click Pull from IRCC; no manual input needed.
What if the portal has logged me out?
The tool detects this automatically and shows a 'Session Expired' message. Refresh the IRCC portal tab, sign in again, navigate back to the checklist, and click Pull from IRCC again.
What if I have more than one IRCC tab open?
The extension will ask you to pick which one to use.
