IRCC's full list of 186 high-wage NOC occupations that count from November 3, 2026, grouped by level, with how many CRS points each level adds for work experience and job offers, with and without a spouse.
On October 16, 2026, IRCC published the list of 186 high-wage occupations that will count for Express Entry from November 3. If your Canadian work (or a qualifying job offer) is in one of these occupations, you can gain 20, 40 or 70 points for work experience, or 50, 70 or 100 points for a job offer. If your job is not on the list, the new bonus does not apply to you. The full list is below, grouped by level, with points tables for common situations. To see your own result, use our free CRS calculator.
Extra CRS points do not guarantee an invitation to apply. These figures are estimates, not a decision, and IRCC has not yet published an updated CRS grid.
How the points work
IRCC adds a Labour Market Integration factor. You are scored on either your Canadian work experience or a qualifying job offer, and you get whichever is higher, never both. The level of a job comes from its NOC code (its median wage compared with the average median wage in Canada), not from your own salary.
- Work experience route: the work-length points you get today (40, 53, 64, 72 or 80 for 1 to 5 years without a spouse or partner; 35, 46, 56, 63 or 70 with one), plus a high-wage bonus of 70 (2× level), 40 (1.5×) or 20 (1.3×).
- The bonus needs at least 12 months, or 1,560 hours, of qualifying Canadian work in listed occupations. Part-time hours count in proportion, and jobs held at the same time count up to 30 hours a week.
- Job offer route: 100 (2×), 70 (1.5×) or 50 (1.3×) points for a qualifying offer in a listed occupation. No LMIA is needed. Today a job offer earns no CRS points.
- Maximum for the whole factor: 150 points without a spouse or partner, 140 with one.
Points in common situations: Canadian work experience
These tables use IRCC's published point values for a candidate without a spouse or partner, and change nothing else in the profile. They show the arithmetic only. Your own score depends on your whole profile.
| Profile | Today | From November 3 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 year of Canadian work, 2× job | 40 | 110 (40 + 70) | +70 |
| 3 years of Canadian work, 2× job | 64 | 134 (64 + 70) | +70 |
| 5 years of Canadian work, 2× job | 80 | 150 (80 + 70) | +70 |
| 1 year of Canadian work, 1.5× job | 40 | 80 (40 + 40) | +40 |

| 3 years of Canadian work, 1.3× job | 64 | 84 (64 + 20) | +20 |
| 3 years of Canadian work, job not on the list | 64 | 64 | 0 |
With a spouse or partner
The work-length points are lower with an accompanying spouse or partner, but the high-wage bonus is the same 70, 40 or 20. The most the whole factor can reach is 140.
| Profile | Today | From November 3 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 year of Canadian work, 2× job | 35 | 105 (35 + 70) | +70 |
| 3 years of Canadian work, 2× job | 56 | 126 (56 + 70) | +70 |

Points in common situations: job offers
A qualifying job offer is written, from an employer in Canada, full-time (30 or more hours a week) and for at least a year after you become a permanent resident, in a listed occupation. A work permit alone is not a job offer. The two routes are never added together: the higher one counts. Figures below are without a spouse or partner.
The offer route only helps when it beats your work experience route. After a year in a 1.5× or 2× job, the work route is usually already higher.
| Profile | Today | From November 3 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| No Canadian work, qualifying offer in a 2× job | 0 | 100 | +100 |
| No Canadian work, qualifying offer in a 1.5× job | 0 | 70 | +70 |
| No Canadian work, qualifying offer in a 1.3× job | 0 | 50 | +50 |
| 1 year of Canadian work in a 1.3× job (60), plus an offer in a 2× job (100) | 40 | 100 (offer route is higher) | +60 |
| 3 years of Canadian work in a 2× job (134), plus an offer in a 2× job (100) | 64 | 134 (work route is higher) | +70 |
Under 1 year of Canadian work, or none
The high-wage bonus needs at least 12 months, or 1,560 hours, of qualifying Canadian work in listed occupations. Below that, the bonus is 0, and today's work-length points also start at 1 year, so the work route scores 0. Hours add up across jobs and do not have to be continuous, and hours at a higher level also count toward a lower one. Without a qualifying job offer, nothing changes for you on November 3. With one, the offer route can still score. Figures are without a spouse or partner.
| Profile | Today | From November 3 | Change |
|---|---|---|---|
| No Canadian work, no job offer | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| 11 months in a 2× job, no job offer | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| 8 months in a 1.3× job, plus an offer in a 2× job | 0 | 100 (offer route) | +100 |
| 8 months in a 2× job plus 6 months in a 1.3× job (14 months), no offer | 40 | 60 (40 + 20) | +20 |
| Two 7-month jobs, both 2× (14 months), no offer | 40 | 110 (40 + 70) | +70 |
Work in one occupation group, job offer in another
The two routes are scored separately. The work route uses the NOC codes of the jobs you worked in, and the offer route uses the NOC code of the job you were offered. They do not have to match, and the points are never added: the higher route counts. If one of the jobs is not on the list, that route scores 0 for the bonus or the offer. Figures are without a spouse or partner.
The offer must still meet IRCC's job offer requirements: written, from an employer in Canada, full-time, and lasting at least a year after you become a permanent resident.
| Profile | Work route | Offer route | Counts |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3 years in a 1.3× job, offer in a 2× job | 84 (64 + 20) | 100 | 100 (offer) |
| 3 years in a 2× job, offer in a 1.3× job | 134 (64 + 70) | 50 | 134 (work) |
| 1 year in a 1.5× job, offer in a 2× job | 80 (40 + 40) | 100 | 100 (offer) |
| 3 years in a job not on the list, offer in a 1.5× job | 64 | 70 | 70 (offer) |
| 3 years in a 2× job, offer in a job not on the list | 134 (64 + 70) | 0 | 134 (work) |

Check your own job, and what this list cannot tell you
Your job's level depends on its NOC code, and the right code depends on your actual duties, not your job title. Search it with the NOC Finder, then see both scores in the CRS calculator. IRCC says the list is based on wage data from 2023 to 2025, and that it keeps the level that applied on your invitation date if the list later changes. Existing profiles will be recalculated when the changes take effect, which IRCC says could take up to two weeks, with invitation rounds paused. The official list is on IRCC's high-wage page (retrieved 2026-10-16). ITC iLand is not a government body.
