IRCC's latest three Express Entry rounds: 733 PNP invitations at 725, 2,000 CEC at 518, and 3,500 trades invitations at 476.
IRCC's most recent Express Entry rounds ran from September 28 to October 1, 2026. A Provincial Nominee Program round invited 733 candidates with a lowest score of 725, a Canadian Experience Class round invited 2,000 at 518, and a trades-occupations round invited 3,500 at 476. All figures come from IRCC's published list of rounds of invitations; an invitation to apply is not a guarantee of permanent residence.
What were the latest rounds?
IRCC's published round list shows these three most recent rounds:
| Round | Date | Type | Invitations | Lowest CRS score |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 447 | October 1, 2026 | Trades occupations (2026 version 3) | 3,500 | 476 |
| 446 | September 29, 2026 | Canadian Experience Class | 2,000 | 518 |
| 445 | September 28, 2026 | Provincial Nominee Program | 733 | 725 |
How do these compare with mid-September?
In the previous cluster, IRCC held a PNP round on September 14 (576 invitations, lowest score 734), a CEC round on September 15 (2,000 invitations, 519) and a senior-managers round on September 16 (250 invitations, 389). The CEC cut-off moved from 519 to 518, and the PNP cut-off from 734 to 725. Two data points are not a trend, and IRCC can change round sizes and categories at any time.
Who is affected?
The category-based round only applies to candidates who meet that category's published conditions. Check IRCC's category page for the current occupation list before assuming you qualify.
- Candidates holding a provincial nomination, who are the pool this round draws from.
- Candidates in the Express Entry pool with Canadian work experience who qualify for the Canadian Experience Class.
- Candidates whose recent work experience falls in the occupations IRCC listed for the trades category in this round.
What these rounds do not tell you
Each invitation starts a deadline to submit a complete application, which IRCC then assesses on its own merits; check the deadline in your invitation.
A lowest score is a snapshot of one round. It is not a minimum score you must reach, and it does not predict the next draw. Rounds are issued at IRCC's discretion; no score or profile is guaranteed an invitation.
What to do next
Compare your own score with the recent range using the CRS calculator, then check how recent rounds have trended on our draws page. If a language-test result or work-experience record could change your score, confirm the evidence. Processing times are estimates, and no outcome is guaranteed.
