IRCC's data shows no Express Entry round since October 16. See 2026 invitations by type and what the November 3 CRS recalculation pause means for you.
IRCC has not held an Express Entry invitation round since October 16, 2026, according to its official rounds data checked on October 26. That last round (#450) invited 5,000 French-language candidates at a CRS cut-off of 435, and it brought the 2026 total to 143,467 invitations across 62 rounds. This is not a rule change: it is a status check on draws ahead of the CRS changes that take effect on November 3, 2026.

Is a 10-day gap unusual?
Not on its own. IRCC's 2026 data already shows longer stretches without a round, for example from May 28 to June 22 (25 days) and from July 23 to August 4 (12 days). A gap between rounds is not, by itself, a signal about future cut-offs or about any one candidate's chances.
Why November 3 matters
On October 16, IRCC announced that from November 3, 2026 the CRS will award additional points for eligible high-wage Canadian work experience or a qualifying job offer, and a qualifying job offer will no longer need an LMIA to earn those points. IRCC says the scores of candidates already in the pool will be recalculated automatically and that invitation rounds will be paused during that process, which may take up to two weeks. Candidates who want job-offer points must update their profiles with the required information before November 3.
- IRCC has not published a date for the next round.
- IRCC has not said whether any round will be held before November 3.
- Cut-offs after the recalculation are not known; earlier cut-offs may not be a reliable guide.
Who is affected
Everyone with an active Express Entry profile, and especially candidates whose score may change on November 3: people with high-wage Canadian work experience, people with a job offer that previously lacked an LMIA, and candidates near recent cut-offs who are deciding whether to improve language scores or other factors now.
What it does not change
invitations already issued remain subject to their own deadlines, and the November 3 changes do not alter the documents you must provide after an invitation. Nothing here means a draw has been cancelled.
What to do next
Check that your profile is accurate and complete before November 3, particularly job-offer details if you intend to claim those points. Compare your score today with the November 3 rules using our CRS calculator, read our explainer on the expected pause after November 3, and follow new rounds as they are published on our draws tracker. For an overview of the programme, see our Express Entry page.
Processing times and draw schedules are IRCC's decisions and can change without notice; nothing here predicts when the next round will happen, and no invitation can be promised. Official source: IRCC, Express Entry rounds of invitations.
