How It Works
- 1
Find a Recognized Facilitator
ITC iLand helps identify and connect you with a suitable recognized Dutch facilitator from the official Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) list. The facilitator is your guide and co-applicant.
- 2
Business Plan & Facilitator Agreement
Work with the facilitator to refine your business plan, assess the Dutch market opportunity, and finalize the facilitator services agreement.
- 3
Permit Application
The facilitator co-signs and submits the startup permit application to the Netherlands Immigration Service (IND) on your behalf.
- 4
IND Processing
IND reviews the application — typically 2–3 months. An MVV long-stay visa authorization is required if applying from outside the Netherlands.
- 5
Arrival & Business Development
Arrive and work closely with your facilitator to develop your business within Dutch and EU ecosystems. Amsterdam, Eindhoven, and Rotterdam all have strong startup hubs.
- 6
Self-Employed Permit Transition
After 1 year, apply for the regular self-employed (zelfstandige) residence permit based on demonstrated business progress.
