- PTE Core — converted using IRCC's separate PTE equivalency table, on the 10–90 PTE Core scale
- TEF Canada and TCF Canada — measure French; CLB 7 or higher across all four skills earns extra CRS points under the French-language bonus
Frequently Asked Questions
CELPIP is the simplest conversion of all: your test score IS your CLB level, 1-to-1, with no table lookup needed. A CELPIP 9 is CLB 9, a CELPIP 7 is CLB 7. CELPIP is also the only test that measures a genuine CLB 11 or 12 — IELTS, PTE Core, TEF Canada, and TCF Canada all cap out at "CLB 10 or more" in IRCC's own equivalency tables, so if you are aiming for the highest possible language points, CELPIP is the only test that can show it.

Each of your four skills (Listening, Reading, Writing, Speaking) is converted separately against its own threshold.
