Apply online to the Italian Investor Visa Committee for pre-clearance. Decision issued within 30 days — one of the fastest government decisions in Europe.

Visa Application at Italian Consulate
With nulla osta in hand, apply for the investor visa at the Italian consulate in your home country. Visa issued for 2 years.

Investment Completion
Complete the qualifying investment within 3 months of entering Italy. Register with Italian municipality (comune).

Residence Permit
Apply for Italian residence permit (permesso di soggiorno) at the local immigration office. Valid 2 years, renewable as long as investment maintained.

Permanent Residence / Citizenship
After 5 years of legal residence: apply for Italian permanent residency. After 10 years of legal residence: apply for Italian citizenship.
